We know that in order for our residents with families to be successful, they need to know that their families are happy in Fort Wayne. Our Family Medicine Residency Program is a very family friendly program. Our residents (both those who are single and those with families) are very supportive of one another in all aspects of their lives. Not only do they enjoy working together but they enjoy spending time with each other outside of residency duties. The families of our residents enjoy these times as well.
Fort Wayne offers numerous cultural, educational, and sporting events and is a very affordable city. Fort Wayne Medical Society has an Alliance for spouses of physicians.
The Alliance is an organization dedicated to physician spouses and serving the community.
Community Events include sponsoring: Doctor’s Day, Cinderella Dress Day, and Health Careers Scholarships.
Social Events include: Fall Membership Social, Holiday Luncheon and Bazaar, Lunch Club, Book Club, and New Spouse Mentoring.
