Joseph Geiger, DO

Hi! I’m Joseph Geiger, originally from Indianapolis, and I’m excited to continue my medical training with FWMEP. I met my amazing wife, Katelyn, at Miami University in Ohio, where I earned my undergraduate degree in pre-med and mathematics. We now have a nearly two-year-old daughter and are expecting our second child this July. Our family also includes a lively golden doodle who keeps things interesting!

I completed my medical education at Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Indianapolis, IN. I chose family medicine for its broad scope and the unique opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients and their families through every stage of life. I’ve been living in Fort Wayne for the past two years doing my clinical rotations and have truly enjoyed my experience with the community, the people, and the residency program. FWMEP stood out to me for its unopposed structure, strong inpatient and obstetrics training, and the supportive environment that felt like home from the start. My clinical interests include sports medicine, obstetrics, geriatrics, and pediatrics.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy playing golf and basketball, spending quality time with family, and cheering on the Colts and Pacers. Our faith is a central part of our lives, and we’re grateful to be part of the Pine Hills Church community. I'm very excited to start with FWMEP while my family and I continue building our life and settling into the Fort Wayne community.
