Research Update

FWMEP submitted 8 grants in the past year with 4 of them being funded!  FWMEP is participating with a PBRN on their AHRQ funded quality improvement projects.

Four peer reviewed manuscripts have been accepted and are either published or in press.

One book chapter has been accepted and is in press.

Two of our residents presented their research at the national ACOFP meeting.

One resident was elected for a State level service opportunity with IAFP.

We are consistently engaging with the IU School of Medicine medical students to provide clinical research opportunities.

The Our area alumni physicians have begun to serve as research advisors for resident projects.
