Zac Slattery, DO
Hello! My name is Zac Slattery, and I am so excited to be in Fort Wayne for my residency training. I was born and raised just outside of Fort Wayne in Hicksville, Ohio, and I am grateful to be returning the area I call home. I obtained my undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio and then completed my medical school education at the University of Pikeville – Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, Kentucky.
The Fort Wayne Medical Education Program was a perfect fit for me as I researched possible programs to attend for residency. I wanted an unopposed, community based program that would allow me to train in full scope family medicine including operative obstetrics. FWMEP allows me the opportunity to do just that! After my audition rotation here during my fourth year of medical school, I knew this was exactly where I wanted to be. The training available here at FWMEP is second to none, and I am lucky to be a part of this family.
In my spare time, I love spending time with my beautiful wife and family. I am also an avid Buckeyes and Cleveland sports fan (Things are finally looking up for the Brownies!!) and love to attend football and baseball games whenever possible. My wife and I consider ourselves lucky to be able to continue this journey here at FWMEP.
