Trina Manalo, MD
Howdy! I’m Trina and yes that is my full first name. I grew up here in Fort Wayne going to St. Vincent’s for grade school and Dwenger for high school. I then attended DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana majoring in both biology and Spanish. I completed medical school at Saba University.
I am really excited about being at the FWMEP. During medical school, I fell in love with almost all of my rotations so I knew I wanted a program that was full spectrum. When I did my family medicine rotation here, I found just what I was looking for. I was impressed by the culture of learning, the eagerness of the faculty to teach, and the opportunities the residents had to do procedures. FWMEP also had the added benefit of being home.
When I have some free time, I like to spend time with friends and family, especially my niece and nephew. I also like to read, travel, go to museums, craft like I’m Martha Stewart, pretend I am good at art, and food-sploring.
