Crystal Kalogris, DO
Hello! My name is Crystal Kalogris, I am a Fort Wayne native and North Side grad. I attended Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, KY for my first two years of undergraduate education, before transferring to Marian University in Indianapolis, IN, to achieve my Bachelor of Science in Biology. I completed my Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine at Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine, with a majority of my training in the Indy area. After many years away, I am grateful to be back in Fort Wayne!
My first experience with FWMEP was before I attended medical school and I immediately recognized FWMEP as a remarkable program with exceptional faculty, staff, and residents. After returning to rotate as a student, I was certain FWMEP would provide challenging unopposed training with a supportive environment and OMM opportunities. I am thankful to join FWMEP to continue developing into a competent, compassionate, and collaborative physician.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking with my 7 year old lab/boxer mix, volunteering with local animal shelters, and practicing yoga. Integrating recreational cycling is a new intention, as I stopped cycling competitively in medical school. For 17 years I competed as an amateur, professional, and collegiate cyclist in the cycling disciplines of BMX racing, Dual Slalom, and Downhill mountain biking. As an avid grocery shopper and whole food home cook, I love enhancing my knowledge about food, nutrients, and healthy recipes.
