Nick Seman, DO
Hi, my name is Nick Seman and I grew up in the rural town of Howe, Indiana. I attended Manchester University (Manchester College at that time) for my undergraduate, majoring in biology/chemistry and minoring in psychology. I then moved down to Pikeville, Kentucky for medical school at the University of Pikeville – Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine. After completing my second year I married my high school sweetheart, and moved to Bay City, Michigan for my clinical training.
My wife is also a graduate of Manchester University, and has worked at both Zimmer and Dow over the last few years. We have one dog, Tesla, a cockapoo that we treat better than ourselves.
In my down time I enjoy playing sports, bicycling, running, reading, watching movies, catching up on manga and anime, playing video games, and hanging out with friends. As long as I'm around friends I can have fun doing anything. I am a strong supporter of the Chicago Cubs, and love going to Wrigley field to watch the opposing team dominate more often than not. I also enjoy following Manchester United soccer and the Indianapolis Colts.
I was encouraged to apply to the Fort Wayne program by my family doctor, a graduate of the program herself. I cannot thank her enough! From the dinner the night before the interview until the minute I left the next day, I was completely blown away by the quality of the program, faculty, and residents. I knew this was the perfect fit for me to push myself in order to become the best doctor possible, and was beyond excited when the results of the matched were released.
I am very excited to be a part of such an amazing program! My wife and I are thrilled to make Fort Wayne our home!
