Megan Lemon, MD
Hello! My name is Megan Lemon, and I grew up in northwest Indiana, near Chicago (a.k.a. "the Region"). I went to Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) for college, where I earned B.A. degrees in biology and Spanish. I then went on to earn my M.D. degree from Indiana University School of Medicine.
After spending my first two years of medical school at the Indianapolis campus, I transferred to the Fort Wayne campus, which is where I first heard about the Fort Wayne Medical Education Program. I was really impressed by the superb training offered by this program, and I am very excited to continue my training in Fort Wayne. My interests within family medicine include care for the underserved, procedures, women's health, and obstetrics. I also love working with Spanish-speaking patients.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy playing the piano, reading, crafts, running, spending time with family, and spending time outdoors.
